MySQL service configuration

I. Summary

① MySQL features

Efficient and stable, open source code, multi-user support, multithreading, openness, extensive application support, transaction processing, big database processing, high flexibility, security permission and password system

② Check whether MySQL is installed

Rpm-qa | grep Mysql

③ During the first installation, the user accessing the database server can only be the MySQL Administrator (non-Linux root User)

④ Mysql service start and stop

/Etc/init. d/mysqld start/restart/stop

Ii. MySQL Service Management

① Modify the root password

Mysqladmin-u root password string

② Connect to the Mysql server

Mysql [-h host name or IP address] [-u user name] [-p]

Example: mysql-u root-p (root login to the mysql server on the local machine)
