Mysql,phpmyadmin password forgot what to do

1. Turn off MySQL service

# service MySQL Stop

If you are prompted for an error such as Mysql:unrecognized service.

See Find Mysql.server First, using: Find/-name "Mysql.server"

Then use the/usr/local/mysql/share/mysql/mysql.server Stop command to turn off MySQL.

2. Safe Mode start MySQL Skip authorization form

Check the Mysqld_safe program first, you can use the Find/-name "Mysqld_safe" command to locate the default is in the MySQL installation directory.

3. Use the root account to log in to MySQL change password re-authorization

Create a new connection to the cloud server

1) Enter mysql-u root command to log in to MySQL first

2) in input update mysql.user set Password=password (' 123456789 ') where user= ' root '; Update MySQL password to: 123456789

3) Quit MySQL

4. Restart MySQL Service

1) killall mysqld end all MySQL processes

2) service MySQL start to start MySQL

3) Mysql-u Root–p Enter, prompt for password, then you just reset the MySQL password.
