I think PHP has a low threshold and is easy to modify. However, the disadvantage is that the structure is too loose. whether the code can be maintained depends entirely on the self-discipline of the developers. but as we just mentioned, the threshold is low, so this self-discipline is purely a decoration.

For fast web development, PHP is indeed a good choice, but for later maintenance and expansion, as the complexity of the project increases, if you do not plan well and leave room for expansion, it is basically a tragedy.
