Demo system: Windows2003 systemnavicat Connect MySQL Database Setup method/step 1th step : Download and install Navicat software, this installation successfully to your computer, after the installation is successful, open the Navicat menu in the Start menu group under "Navicat for MySQL" and click Open.


2nd Step : Click "Connect" in the upper-left corner of the Navicat software and the connection name in the connection form is entered as follows.
Connection name: Both English and Chinese can be entered freely.
Hostname/IP Address: Enter the MySQL database IP address, then enter "localhost" or "127.0.0.1" on the local computer.

Port: Enter the port number of the MySQL database, which is "3306" by default.

Username:mysql login name.

Password:mysql login password.

3rd Step : After the connection information of MySQL is determined, click the "Connect Test" button. If you are prompted to "connect successfully" as normal, click OK. If the connection is not successful, check that the setting information is correct.
　

4th Step : After the connection setup form is determined, for example, the left side of the view appears with a name just in the connection settings. Double-click or right-click on this name to "open connection" to go to the MySQL data all operation.
