1.1.1 Post-Installation inspection
Log on to the domain controller as an administrator.
1. Change the DNS server used by the domain controller
Open the TCP/IPV4 protocol to change the preferred DNS server 10.7.1.110.
Note: After the default installation of the Active Directory, the preferred DNS is specified as 127.0.0.1, so the first thing to do after startup is to point the preferred DNS to its own IP address.
2. Open the Service Manager to check for SRV records on DNS. Note that there are 4 items, and here are 6 items.
These SRV records are registered by the domain controller. With these records, the client can find a domain controller that ess.com this domain.
If the Active Directory is installed, the SRV records are not fully found. The client will have no way to locate the domain controller. How do you do that? Look at the tasks below.
3. Check the default structure of the Active Directory
Click Roles in Server Manager "Active Directory Domain Services" à "Active Directory Users and Computers" à "ess.com".
The Builtin store is built into a built-in group.
Computers The default computer is joined to the domain, the location of the computer account is Computers.
Domain controllers stores the domains in this domain controller and does not easily move domain controllers to other locations.
ForeignSecurityPrincipals the security principal in the external domain where the trust is stored.
The location where the users default user is stored.
Select Ess.com, click "View" à "advanced features", and you can see more containers in the Active Directory.
