Crossover network cable for ADSL modem and hub Hub connection (and modem design is related, not all of this), hub and hub not through the connection between the Cascade, and two of computers directly through the network card interconnection. The production method and the above basically the same, but the online order is not like 568B, using the 1-3,2-6 Exchange Mode, that is, the use of 568B production, the other end of the use of 568A production
The difference between straight line and cross line
Straight line, i.e. Direct Line, Standard 568B): The ends of the line sequence, from left to right line is: white orange, orange, white green, blue, white blue, green, white brown, Brown.
Reverse line, that is, the intersection line, (568A): one end of the line is positive line sequence, the other end is left to right: white green, green, white orange, blue, white blue, orange, white brown, Brown.
The following are the correct selection of the positive and reverse lines in connection with various devices. Where the hub represents the hub, the switch represents the switch, and the router represents the router:
PC-PC: Reverse Line
Pc-hub: Positive Line
Hub-hub Common mouth: Reverse line
Hub-hub-Grade connecting port: Reverse Line
Hub-hub Common mouth-grade connecting port: Positive line
Hub-switch: Reverse Line
HUB (Cascade port)-switch: Positive Line
Switch-switch: Reverse Line
Switch-router: Positive Line
Router-router: Reverse Line
100BaseT connection twisted pair, with 100mb/s Eia/tia 568B as standard specification.
The production steps are as follows:
Step 1: Make use of the twisted-pair length, at least 0.6 meters, and no more than 100 m. Then use the twisted-pair stripper (which can actually be used for any shear) to remove the twisted-pair's outer skin by 2-3 centimeters. Some twisted-pair cables contain a soft nylon cord, if you peel off the twisted pair of the skin, feel that the exposed part is too short, and not conducive to the production of RJ-45 joints, you can grip the twisted pair of skin, and then pinch the nylon line to the bottom of the skin peel open, you can get a long bare line. (as pictured)
Step 2: The twisted-pair cable after stripping is finished as shown in the figure
Step 3: Next, you will have to dial the operation. Turn the orange pair of the exposed twisted pair to the front of the line, Brown to the line to its own direction, Green to the line stripping to the left, blue to the line to the right, as shown in the picture. On: Orange left: green: Brown Right: Blue
Step 4: Place the green alignment with the blue pair line in the middle, while the orange alignment and the brown alignment remain on the outside, as shown in the figure.
Left one: Orange left two: Green Left three: Blue left four: Brown
Step 5: Carefully peel off each pair of lines, because we are following the Eia/tia 568B standard to make the connector, so the line to color is in a certain order (as shown in the picture).
Special attention should be paid to the Green Line that should cross the blue Line. The easiest place to make mistakes here is to put the white and green lines together with the Green Line, which can cause crosstalk and reduce the efficiency of transmission. Left: White orange/orange/White green/Blue/Bai Lan/Green/white brown/Brown The common fault connection is to place the Green Line on the 4th foot (shown below).
It is correct to place the Green Line on the 6th foot, because in the 100BaseT network, the 3rd foot is the same as the 6th foot, so you need to use the same pair of residuals. (See Standard Eia/tia 568B) Left: white orange/orange/White green/Green/Bai Lan/Blue/white brown/Brown
Step 6: The bare twisted pair with scissors or oblique pliers cut only about 14mm of length, leaving this length is to meet the Eia/tia standards, you can refer to the use of RJ-45 connectors and twisted pair production standards. Finally the twisted pair of each line into the RJ-45 connector in the PIN, the first pin should be white Orange Line, the rest of the analogy, as shown
Step 7: Determine the twisted pair of each line has been correctly placed, you can use RJ-45 crimping pliers crimping RJ-45 connectors, such as the right figure on the market there is also a RJ-45 connector protection cover, can prevent joints in the pull caused by poor contact. When using this protective sleeve, it is necessary to insert the rubber sleeve on the twisted-pair cable before pressing the RJ-45 connector, as shown in the figure.
Step 8: Repeat steps 2 through 7, and then make the RJ-45 connector on the other end. Because the workstation and the hub are direct docking, so the other end of the RJ-45 connector pin method is exactly the same. After completion of the connector at both ends of the RJ-45 connector, regardless of pin and color completely ~-like, this connection method is suitable for ADSL modem and computer network card connection between computers and hubs (switches) connection. The completed RJ45 connector should be shown in the following figure.
