The traditional network coding research in a simple example illustrates that the network coding scheme can transmit 1.5 bits more than the traditional single path. Although it is necessary to understand that the existing research results of network coding need the knowledge of probability theory, information theory, graph theory and so on, it seems that these have not reached the practical level.
Here are a few questions to solve:
1, how do not know the network topology in the case of "detection", and the application of an optimal network coding scheme?
2, Network code is only the current proposal of the several programs?
3. What is the practical significance of multi-source transmission channel? Since "multi-source", how do these sources guarantee consistency and synchronization? Does it apply the characteristics of quantum entanglement?
Without considering the optimal coding performance, it is natural to combine network coding with Multipath routing, and now mesh network (meshnet) applications, to see if it is better to ensure end-to-end transmission security?
In the case of Multipath routing, it is not possible to decipher encrypted information content unless a malicious third party controls all routing channels. But I think multipath routing is inherently incompatible with the layered model of OSI/TCPIP.
Network encoding (Encoding) and Multipath routing (multi-path routing)
