If the network is enabled in a VPC, there are three optional Network modes. Each network has the following features:
1. Local Mode:
All virtual machines running on the host machine (non-Virtual Machine) can access each other. The host machine and virtual machine cannot access each other.
2. shared network mode (NAT ):
If the NAT mode is enabled on the virtual machine, the virtual machine can access the Internet. You can also add the same default gateway and DNS as the host machine.
Nat usually requires two NICs on this virtual machine. the first one is used for Nat. the other is used for intranet connection. intranet connection is equivalent to a local virtual machine. after "Routing and Remote Access" is configured on the Virtual Machine with two NICs enabled, other virtual machines can access the public network through the Virtual Machine with Nat configured. in short, Nat is a port connecting to the host machine.
3. Simulate the NIC mode of the host machine:
This is the simplest mode for a VM to access the Internet. The principle is that there is a physical Nic on the VM, which is equivalent to another computer connected to the network of the host, and the host is on the same network. as long as the IP address and host machine are in the same network segment, the DNS/Default Gateway configuration is the same as that of the host machine, and the host machine can access each other.
