Simon's 10G 6ATM F/UTP series products meet and exceed the 10GB/S Gigabit Ethernet application standard, including its stringent external performance requirements.
The world's leading network cabling solutions provider Simon proudly announces the launch of the all-new 10G 6ATM F/UTP end to end Shield Enhancement 6-class cabling solution. The 10G 6ATM F/UTP cabling system meets and exceeds all requirements for the channel in the IEEE 802.3an (Gigabit Ethernet standard based on copper cables, which is scheduled to take effect in 2006).
The 10G 6ATM F/UTP channel consists of a new small diameter f/utp shielded cable, a tool-free end maxreg, a shielding module, a terareg;-max wiring frame, 10G 6A Mcreg, a shield jumper, and a bladepatchreg of Simon's innovation; High density shielding jumper components. The system not only perfectly matches Simon data Center/Telecom rack and cable management products, but also is compatible with a variety of workspace panels and surface mounting options. Like Simon's other solutions, the 10G 6ATM F/UTP Cabling System will receive a comprehensive, 20-year system certification after installation by Simon Certified Installer.
The new enhanced 6-class shielding cabling solution is one of the Simon 10G Iptm series million solution collections. The 10G IPTM includes three standard-approved copper cabling solutions that support 10gbase-t: End-to-end F/UTP, UTP and 7-class/F-level Terareg, fully shielded cabling solutions. Developed to meet the diverse needs of the global marketplace. "A single copper cabling solution will not meet the diverse needs of users," said Robert Carlson, vice president of global marketing at Simon. As users have a deeper understanding of the applicable cabling solutions, related performance and feasibility, they can decide which cabling system to use based on their own habits and the actual need for comfort. ”
Carlson pointed out: "The continuous upgrading of the application of the standard of copper cabling in the field has undergone great changes." The rules for the anext of the foreign string around parameters in the Gigabit Ethernet standard make the application fields of UTP, F/UTP and s/ftp different. Prior to the market-leading UTP in support of gigabit applications face many difficulties, so many users switch to 10G 6A shielding or 7 class Tera total shielding solution. "(Computer science)
Part of the reason for this trend is that cabling vendors are using unusual means to develop UTP cables that meet the requirements of external string-winding performance. The upcoming TIA standard allows cable diameters to increase to 0.354 inches (9mm), so Simon's current 10G 6A UTP Cable has a diameter greater than the previous 6 cable, allowing for better control of the external windings in the UTP structure. Although the cable advantage of the UTP structure is obvious, it is flawed, such as reducing the number of cables that the wire slots can hold. Simon 10G 6A F/UTP solution with full aluminum foil shielding, it has excellent external crosstalk performance and can ensure that the line groove capacity is constant (cable diameter is only 0.290 inches, 7.4 mm).
Users can compare and filter alternative solutions based on the ease of installation. UTP solutions are widely used in the marketplace because they are easy to install. But as the installation engineers become increasingly familiar with the installation and grounding methods of F/UTP and S/UTP (Simon's shielding products are easy to install), its convenience has been similar to the 6 type a UTP wiring system installation level, and strong noise resistance and low signal dissipation characteristics, but also become a cause of their attention. The IEEE 802.3an Workgroup has agreed to list the 100-meter screened cabling system as a wiring type that can support 10gbase-t applications, and it appears that 10G 6A F/UTP will become the new darling of the wiring market.
