Microsoft announced IE9 Platform Preview 4 today. The new version contains IE9 User Agent String, which can finally be no longer recognized as IE8 by the server, and provides a lot of support for CSS3, HTML5, and DOM. Previously, IE9 released three technology pre-views, which provide GPU rendering and new JS engines, and Microsoft is planning to make more changes to IE9 to fully support W3C Web standards, includes HTML5, SVG 1.1 version 2, CSS3 media query, CSS3 border and background, CSS3 selector, DOM level 3 core, DOM level 3 event and DOM level 2 style.
