[New Interface] Mercury how to set up a wireless router to surf the internet?

Wireless routers for computers, mobile phones, pad and other terminals to provide wired, wireless networks, routers connected to the broadband line, all terminals can be Internet access through the router.

Different mercury router's setting interface style may differ, this article introduced the new interface wireless router's setting method in detail.

If your router interface is different from the style of this article,

First, line connection

Connect the front-end broadband cable to the router's WAN port, and the Internet computer is connected to any LAN port on the router's 1/2/3/4. Please confirm the line type of broadband in the household, click the corresponding button to view the line connection method:

Note : Broadband cable must be connected to the router WAN port, the computer connection 1\2\3\4 any one port.

The default wireless signal for the router is mercury_xxxx and does not have a password. If you use a wireless terminal such as a notebook or mobile phone to set up your router, connect to the signal and follow the next steps.

After connecting the lines, check that the corresponding interface LEDs are illuminated steady or blinking, and if the LEDs are not lit,

Second, the Internet settings

1 , login Router management interface

Open the browser, clear the Address bar and enter the administrative address: melogin.cn(or enter IP address 192.168.1.1), carriage return.

Initial login interface needs to set up a router management password, followed by the password to enter the management router. Be sure to keep that in mind.

2 , enter a broadband account and password

Routers will automatically detect the way the Internet, such as testing for broadband dial-up Internet access , in the corresponding settings box to enter the operator to provide broadband account and password, and to determine the password entered the correct account, click Next .

Note : 76% of the users because of the wrong broadband account password caused no access to the Internet, please carefully check the input of the broadband account password is correct, pay attention to distinguish between Chinese and English input, letter case, suffix is complete and so on. If you do not confirm, please consult the broadband operator.

If the Internet is detected as an automatic IP address or fixed IP address to the Internet, please follow the instructions of the wizard, fill in the corresponding parameters.

3 , set Wireless parameters

Set the wireless name and wireless password for the 2.4G and 5G network respectively, the wireless name is recommended to use numbers, letters combination, do not use Chinese or special characters, and set 8-bit and above the wireless password. It is recommended that the wireless name of the 2.4G and 5G wireless network not be set to exactly the same, and if the same 2.4G Wireless password is checked, 2.4G and 5G have the same wireless password. Click Next .

Note : The single frequency wireless router only needs to set 2.4G wireless parameters.

4 , complete the setup

Click Confirm to complete the Setup wizard.

Iii. Confirmation of networking success

After the setup completes, enters the router management interface, in the common setting > the internet setting , if displays the hook on the Internet setting icon, means the network connection success.

At this point, the router is set to complete. The computer can open the Web page directly after connecting the router, no longer use the " broadband connection " on the computer to dial.

If you have other computers need to surf the Internet, use network cable directly to connect the computer to the router 1\2\3\4 any one of the free LAN port can access the Internet; if it is a notebook, mobile phone and other wireless terminals, connected to the router wireless signal can access the Internet, do not need to configure the router .
