New LG Android phones will be equipped with Intel chips

 

The South Korea Times reported on Friday that LG will display its first Android smartphone with an Intel chip at the consumption Electronics Show in Las Vegas next month ("CEs.

Last year, LG presented the Optimus 2x smartphone with a dual-core processor at CES, creating a history of smartphones. However, LG and Intel spokespersons did not officially confirm the products to be exhibited at CES next year.

This is not the first time that LG and Intel have jointly launched a mobile phone at CES. However, like many other products on display at CES, LG and Intel have never been listed.

If this rumor is accurate, LG will have a better time. However, LG will also face more intense competition. For example, HTC will exhibit NVIDIA tegra 3 quad-core processor at CES, which reaches 1.5 GHz.
