When you go to advanced display settings and click geforce (this tab is available only when the full driver is installed), the screen is dimmed. Note that the screen remains hidden instead of black, at this time, the brightness and contrast of the monitor are the highest. It is very strange that the monitor can be restored only after it is turned off and then turned on. After installing the drivers go in windows \ system32 and delete/rename
Following files:

Nvmccs. dll
Nvmccsrs. dll

... And the NVIDIA direct access will be history.
