Nexus 5 Hand is a 4.x system, the system notifies the upgrade to 5.0 of the package, directly in the background download installed. The flat style is quite like, but the system accounts for more than 4.x of memory, Chrome also often lag. But the most unbearable thing is that I use the AnyConnect client to support only 4.x. There is a openconnect third-party client can be used, but often disconnected, and these two days seemingly all stop service, in addition to the connection, pea pod and play market can not be downloaded. AnyConnect connection is not on, the system comes with the VPN incredibly also can not, therefore only brush machine.
--has now been brushed back to 4.4, the interface of 5.x is very not shed. Hope that the second half of AnyConnect can support to 5.x.
To back up data before brushing machine:
Check the following options--
- Photos, videos and recordings
- Contacts and SMS
- Applications and data
- Notes
Have to say backup or use of domestic software. For example, I am filled with the fact that Google's data is not a problem, the results albums and keep are not backed up. Fortunately, I opened the Baidu Cloud album backup. I'm going to take notes with my impressions.
Application and data backup, this time I used the pea pod "Backup and Recovery", but only the program directory backup, the data is not backed up. In fact, access to application data should require root permissions, such as Titanium backup.
Follow the official tutorial brush machine:
The whole process follows the Developers.google.com tutorial Https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
(1) Unlock (unlock bootloader)
Download Android SDK, unzip folder, find Fastboot.exe and Adb.exe in platform-tools/;
Phone connected to the computer, turn on USB debugging;
Open a command-line window, navigate to platform-tools/, and use ADB to open the phone to fastboot mode
ADB reboot bootloader
Can also be directly operated, in the shutdown state, while holding down the volume + power key into the fastboot;
On the command line, enter
FastBoot OEM Unlock
Enter this page. Use the volume key to select yes/no and the Power key to determine. The phone automatically restarts, restart the screen below a lock pattern,
Indicates that the unlock was successful.
(2) Swipe the system image in the unlocked state (factory image)
On the bottom of the tutorial page https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images the appropriate system image for the phone model, my Nexus 5 ("Hammerhead"), this time the choice is 4.4.4 (ktu84p) of the system image. Download the package, unzip it until the folder, and note that the disk leaves at least 200MB of space.
Unzip to this, there is a zip package inside it. The flash-all.sh is the command script of the brush machine we want to use;
Now add the Fastboot.exe path in (1) to the environment variable path, the above script will be called;
such as (1) in the operation of the mobile phone into the fastboot mode;
Navigate to the folder in the system image. Input command
Flash-all
Wait for the brush machine to finish.
Note: Do not interrupt until an end command such as "Press any key to exit" is present. In the Command line window may appear "Cannot find" boot.img "" such information, continue to wait (not found in the directory, will search the ZIP package) brush opportunity to continue.
Restart your phone
After the completion of the brush machine may need to manually restart the phone, in FastBoot mode with the volume key to select.
Because the original system image is being brushed in, the boot setting will boot to Google services. So unplug the SIM card first and skip the boot setup.
Other
If the brush fails, under normal circumstances if you can enter the FastBoot mode, brush into the recovery.img and then re-brush the machine;
The easiest way to solve the problem of adb conflicts is to restart the computer.
