More and more people are using Nios II. After all, NIOS II is the most versatile soft core processor in the world.

NIOS eds are usually loaded together when the Quartus is loaded. Usually we use the template to build the project when we are using it.

In many cases, after installing quartus, we were able to run Nios EDS, Eclipse, but when the project was established, no corresponding templates were found. The problem is still a bit tricky. The main thing is that some configurations are not right. Eclipse did not call Nios EDS.

In this case, you can only reinstall Quartus, note that before installing it, it is best to remove the appropriate folder. Reinstall Quartus, do not interrupt the operation during installation, and do not change the operation. Installation path do not appear in Chinese, it is best to use the default path, as long as the installation disk changes can be, for example, C drive to D.

Under normal circumstances can be set up in the template project, need to download the program, if the right-click menu does not appear

Run as hard ware, the workaround is as follows.

when running Nios eds, run in Compatibility mode and run as Administrator.
