Computer front panel does not sound, but the rear jack has sound, how to solve? According to the author's experience in online learning and personal practice, there are two sets of solutions that are very simple and very practical. The illustrations are especially useful for Windows XP users, and I hope it works for everyone.
Tools/raw Materials
Computer, Windows XP system
Steps/Methods
Solution One:"Realtek high-definition audio Settings", open "control Panel" can be seen.
Select the audio I/O item and click the Tool button icon on the right side of the simulation to set it up.
"Connector Settings"-Check "cancel front panel Jack Detection", "OK" OK. In case of accident, you can hear the sound when you have finished setting it up.
Solution Two: Perhaps there are netizens will ask, how my "Realtek high-definition audio settings" is not such a ah? "Street Settings" there is only one option (pictured):
Through the author of many checks, this situation is likely to be the problem of ASUS motherboard (This is what I encountered earlier); If your computer is using an ASUS motherboard, it defaults to the front panel without sound! The workaround is to go to the motherboard BIOS and simply set it up.
On (or reboot) press the DELETE key to enter the BIOS, select Advanced (Advanced options), as shown:
and choose Chipest.
Then choose South Bridge, and then the front at the beginning of that (in which there is a front audio option), the following options have HD Aduio to convert it to AC ' 97 (after choosing that will become white), enter press F10 save restart, this is OK!
Finally, we can look at the "Realtek high-definition audio settings," which has changed the settings, debugging success.
Attention matters
If neither of these solutions works, it may be a problem with drivers, hardware, and so on.
