Syntax

Mixed constant (string $ name)

Description

The constant () function is used to return the value of a constant. This function is particularly useful when you do not know the name of a constant but need to obtain the value of the constant.

This function is still applicable to class constants.

Return value

Returns the value of a constant. if the constant is undefined, null is returned, but an E_WARNING error is returned.
