Open the Vivado software, select the menu bar "Tools-->options ...", and in the popup dialog box, select the General tab, as shown in 1.

Pull the scroll bar on the right to the Text editor column and select "Custom Editor ...", shown in 2 of 1.

Click 2 in Figure 2, and in the dialog box that pops up, enter "notepad++ installation directory/notepad++.exe [file name]-n[line number]", as shown in 3. Click "OK" and "OK" to complete the notepad++ associated with Vivado.

If I install the notepad++ path on the D drive, enter the following path: "\" is the slash when you need to be aware of the input path. After saving the display as, do not enter the wrong, otherwise can not be called.

D:\Program Files (x86) \notepad++\notepad++.exe [file name]-n[line number]
