Notes LoadRunner Add a server with OS type windows (Win7)

Recently in learning LoadRunner, see "Monitoring Windows Resources", decided to try a little, because did not find the right mirror, and temporarily did not do a good job of Windows virtual machine, so first with their own small test sledgehammer only, but this looks like the difficulty is reduced also ~ as long as a small preparation, everything OK

Preparatory work:

1, open "LoadRunner Agent Process" on windows---This loadrunner will automatically start each time

2. Close the test meter's firewall

3, click the Computer right button "Management services and Applications" service to open "remote Procedure call (RPC)", "Remote Procedure call (RPC) Locator", "Remote Registry" three Works

4, open the "LoadRunner" Application "Controller" to find the Run tab "System Resource Graphs" > "Windows reesources" > Right-click on the top of the view to find a little bit , right mouse button Select "Add measure" To add Monitoring Server "Select indicator" to confirm.

Tip: The configuration can be set icon display has been refreshed time interval, etc.;

l Remove the limit on Guest account

Control Panel,

Delete the "Guest" account inside.

l Change network access mode

l " Control Panel", "Management Tools"- "

--" --" -- > --" --"

l change sharing

Open My Computer-tools-Folder Options-View-Remove the tick " use Simple File sharing (recommended)" .

You should be able to access it now, and if not, you can enable the Guest account.

L If the administrator's account of the monitored machine is empty or does not exist, the Administrator user account and password need to be reset.

Click "Control Panel"-"User account"-"Administrator" user is changing the password.

l share C drive

Right-click on "My Computer"-"manage"-"shared folder" --"select Share" to see if there is a C $ and create a new one if it does not exist.

Monitoring the host on the test

• Ping the IP of the monitored machine to see if it can be connected.

l test on the Monitoring host: Open folder input \ \ is monitoredby the machine ip\c$, enter the administrator's username and password, check whether it can be successful.
