Notes-local interception of network requests for Genymotion or Android simulator

We run Burp or Fiddler on the host, then the agent has been listening on the 8080 port of this machine.

Then we need to make the following settings in the simulator:

1. In Settings, tap and hold the currently connected WiFi network, which pops up as follows:

2. Click Modify Network:

Note the red box in several places.

3. Fill in the IP and port of the proxy server

Android Simulator IP to fill 10.0.2.2, genymotion simulator IP to fill in:10.0.3.2, Port is burp or fiddler listening port, I here is 8080, and then click Save

Now casually browsing a thing, burp should be able to catch the bag.
