Upgrade Fedora8 this morning and it looks like the kernel is upgraded again. The current version should be the initrd-2.6.25.4-10.Fedora8.img. As usual, after the upgrade is complete, restart and modify GRUB to boot to Windows by default, and then install the graphics driver. However, compilation fails. Upgrade Fedora 8 this morning and it looks like the kernel is upgraded again. The current version should be initrd-2.6.25.4-10.Fedora 8.img.
As usual, after the upgrade is complete, restart and modify GRUB to boot to Windows by default, and then install the graphics driver. However, compilation fails. With the old core, you can use X-Window. So go to the NVIDIA website (http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx? Lang = en-us) check that it turns out to be a Restored compatibility with recent Linux 2.6 kernels problem ).
Manually download 173.14.05 driver installation to solve the problem.
