Obtaining and installing Samp

Data | The files used by the database to set up and access the SAMP_DB sample database are available at the following addresses:

Retrieves the samp_db of the distribution contract file. T a r. G Z, enter the directory where you want to install it, and open it with one of the following commands:
% tar zxf samp_db.tar.gz
% Gunzip < samp_db.tar.gz | Tar XF
When you open the distribution package, it creates a directory named samp_db that contains the following:
• Create and load files for the samp_db database. They are used in chapter 1th.
• The C program used in the 6th chapter.
• The Perl DBI scripts and samp_db.cnf option files used in chapter 7th.
• The PHP script and samp_db.inc include files used in the 8th chapter.
The samp_db directory contains a readme file and should refer to its instructions for using the distribution file.
