OFBiz is a well-known e-commerce platform. It is a well-known open-source project that provides creation based on the latest J2EE/XML specifications and technical standards, build a multi-layer, distributed e-commerce web application system framework for large and medium-sized enterprise, cross-platform, cross-database, and cross-application servers.
OFBiz provides a complete set of Java-based Web application components and tools. Including entity engine, service engine, message engine, workflow engine,
Rules Engine.

 

OFBiz has officially become Apache's top-level project: Apache OFBiz.

Apache OFBiz is not only a product and order management system, it also provides a complete set of functions, covering all aspects of the enterprise. In addition to managing products and related content (such as electronic stores), Apache OFBiz can also play many important roles, includes customer relationship management, project progress, billing management, human resource management, and order management. In short, it is an enterprise resource scheduler. There are thousands of enterprises in the world dependent on OFBiz in one or more ways.

As an Apache Software Foundation (ASF) project, the OFBiz team can get a lot of resources and experience from Apache's sister projects.

 

The latest version is Apache OFBiz 10.04.02.

Consider installing OFBiz on your local machine to start your exploration of OFBiz. The only technical requirement is to install the Java2 SDK first.

 

After installing the Java SDK, you can directly download the latest stable version of OFBiz, or use the subvision (a version management tool) client to download the latest snapshot, as shown in the demo command:

 

$ SVN Co SVN address

 

After exporting the source code from the code library, run the following command to create OFBiz:

 

$./Ant run-install

 

The creation process is 100% automatic. After the creation process is complete, run the following command to enable the OFBiz Server:

 

$./Startofbiz. Sh

 

If you are using Windows, run startofbiz. BAT instead of startobiz. Sh for installation.

To access the management interface, You need to log in with an administrator account. The account name is "admin" and the default password is "OFBiz ". After logging on, you can access 27 applications provided by OFBiz from the drop-down menu.

 

OFBiz provides 28 interfaces to comprehensively manage products throughout the product cycle, including manufacturing, inventory, suppliers, and search keywords.
