If this problem occurs with a document, try the Fix it tool: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/921541
Refer to the repair of damaged. pst files in Outlook using the Scanpst.exe or Microsoft Fix It tools
Method Two,
1. Word Safe mode starts, click "Start", enter Winword/safe and return in the search bar, test problem is still exist?
2. Start Word Normally, click "File"-"Options"-"Add-ins", click "Go", and clear the add-in.
3. Remove files from Startup folder
Click Start, and then enter the following path in the search field:
%programfiles%microsoft Officeoffice14startup
%appdata%microsoftwordstartup
(Officestartup is the template and add-in that is loaded automatically when Word starts)
4. Remove Normal.dotm File: Click Start--"run", and type%appdata%microsofttemplates
If you find it in this path $Normal. Dotm hide the file, it is recommended that you delete it.
5. Rename the key values in the following registry:
1. Click "Start", enter Regedit in the Search field, and then click OK.
2). Expand to the following path:
Hkey_current_usersoftwaremicrosoftoffice14.0word
Hkey_local_machinesoftwaremicrosoftofficewordaddins
3. Select the appropriate folder, right mouse, click Rename. Rename Word to Word1 and rename AddIns to Addins1. Restart Word to test whether the problem occurs.
