On Windows 8, how does one set the user account password? (535U3C)

1. Press WIN + X on the keyboard to open the advanced management tool and select control panel ].

  

 

2. Select user account in the control panel ].

  

3. Select change my account information in computer settings ].

  

4. Select user on the left and click create password on the right, as shown in the following figure:

  

5. Enter relevant information as prompted, and then click [next ].
 
 

6. The Message "use new password next time you log on" is displayed, and click "finish" at the bottom ].

 
 
After performing the preceding operations, the user account password is successfully set. You must enter the password next time you start the system.
