One linux Command every day-halt and linux Command halt

The halt command is used to shut down the running Linux operating system. The halt command first checks the system's runlevel. If the runlevel is 0 or 6, the system is shut down. Otherwise, shutdown is called to shut down the system.

Syntax:

Halt (option)

Option:

-D: do not record in wtmp;

-F: The system is forced to be shut down without calling shutdown, regardless of the current runlevel;

-I: Close all network interfaces before halt;

-N: Do not run sync before halt;

-P: After halt, run poweroff;

-W: records are only recorded in wtmp, instead of actually ending the system.

Instance:

Halt-p // turn off the power after the system is turned off.

Halt-d // shut down the system, but no record is left.
