Two days ago, ghost failed. The process is as follows:
Windows 7 system feels slow and wants to change XP, so it installs a one-click ghost, starts the boot guide, opens the toolbox, selects ghost, I chose a self-built Asus XP ghost image (later I found out that it was ~~~~ There is no ghost system disk, and the image of the d disk is used. There is no system in it, and it is dizzy ~~), The prompt for starting an instance is ** MBR missing, which is generally the case.
At present, the MBR cannot be loaded, and the Toolbox cannot be found. The optical drive is broken again, making it worse ~ (Remember Later, do not forget to take out the completed disk, especially pirated and rotten disks. Otherwise, it will damage the optical drive, which is super fast ). The hacker tried to build a USB flash drive PE by using a computer in his dormitory. However, no matter whether it was manual or automatic, he always failure the FlashDisk (which seems to be called this name) software, changing the version is still invalid... I had to call sxs, an old friend of wangke ~ He brought a completed USB flash drive PE, and told me that as long as the iso of the next usb flash drive PE is pressed to the hard disk image (which seems like this), it can be made ...... (Then, after loading the host, he also used the random USB flash drive to bring PE in five minutes. The gap ......).
OK. Set it to UDD to start ~ Does my BIOS seem to be not supported ?? So when the system starts up, he frantically presses F6 ~ F12 (according to him, a key can be used to set a boot item. Which one is it ......?), Then, a menu appears, and the USB flash drive guide is selected. The familiar PE sees it again ~~ Sxs has only full formatting experience on MBR loss, but I have no experience at all. He was surprised to hear me say, Geba, geding, you ...... Next, we will experience 3 hours of experience in re-installing and partitioning the disk (the hard disk is actually the most painful). The Boot is still MBR missing and we need to install the version for re-installation, even if there are no partition tables, the correct location cannot be found in the installation programs and the installation fails. Naturally, ghost is even less boring.
The episode was about the ghost (ISO image) of an installation disk. He copied it to the USB flash drive first! Me! The sxs staff unplugged the USB flash drive. In the result, is it necessary for the program to transfer the ghost to the USB flash drive? Is it necessary to first place the ghost image to the USB flash drive? I don't know ...... Either way ...... At this time, I was shocked. I couldn't use all the programs on the PE interface. I inserted the USB flash drive, but it still didn't work ...... Is the USB flash drive actually dropped by ghost? Er ...... Actually no ...... This PE does not support the plug-and-play USB flash drive, that is, whether it is a USB flash drive, a mobile hard disk or something, please plug it before the PE starts, or else he does not recognize it ~
The correct method to re-create a partition table is to use PM to delete each partition. It is best to first create a logical partition and then use the primary partition. Then create an entire partition, and format it for FAT32 (I used to get rid of the partition table. Application modification. Then adjust the size to separate an extended partition. Application modification. Create a logical partition, format it to FAT32, and modify the application ....... After this is done, each file is formatted as NTFS. The application must be modified at each step. Finally, we used diskgen to fix the appearance of each partition. Then restart the instance and the system prompts that ntdl ×××× cannot be found. The system kernel cannot be found. It indicates that the MBR is OK, and the ghost C disk is successful ~~
The above experience is still the case when a blind cat encounters a dead mouse. There must be some improper places, and some places are unnecessary. Later, I read the book of laruence and found the MBR and Partition Table sections. This is generally the case. The partition refers to the partition of the entire hard disk, which is divided into different partitions by cylindrical units. The entire hard disk can be divided into up to four zones.
The MBR and partition table are stored in the first sector of the entire hard disk. The four partitions can be the primary partition (p) or the extended partition (E) (only one ).
Partition information is recorded in the partition table. Each logical partition (l) can be separated in an extended partition, and its partition information is recorded in an additional sector. Note that partitions of the same type can be merged (PP, LL), but different types cannot be merged (PL ). Note that P and L can be formatted, but E cannot be formatted.
When you want to store data, you need to find the partition where the content of the partition table can put the data in the correct position.
About MBR:
MBR is the abbreviation of Master Boot Record. You can explain it through the following process.
When installing the operating system, the OS adds a boot loader to the MBR.
After the device is started, the BIOS finds the first device that can be started and instructs you to read the content of the first sector (MBR)
During MBR execution, boot loader is run, and boot loader of a specific OS directs to a specific OS kernel. (The Boot Loader provides the following functions: the boot menu, the options for loading the Kernel File (that is, the operating system is selected), and the loader (the one-click Ghost ~)).
Then the OS starts initialization.
Note that
1. Each partition can have its own boot sector. Through the first boot loader jump, you can jump to the boot loader of the partition to start the operating system of the partition.
Boot Loader of the self-starting sector can only guide the kernel of its own partition.
2. Windows is generally used as the first system for multiple operating systems. Because windows is very violent, it overwrites the MBR boot loader, and Linux can choose.
