Visit the csdn homepage, with a CTO link above, pointing to the CTO Club (http://cto.csdn.net ). So far, there have been more than two thousand members in the club. More than three hundred members log on to the club every week. In Beijing, the CTO Club held nearly 10 events.
Just last week, the CTO club event was extended to Shanghai. After the Shanghai hero summit, some members of the CTO Club Shanghai were invited to join the evening dinner. Similarly, everyone's enthusiasm infected everyone.
Next, the CTO club will hold its own activities in Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Wuhan and other places. To better record the development of the CTO club, I will record the development history of the entire CTO club and present it to you.
--------------------
First, why the CTO club?
In fact, a long time ago, Jiang Tao, the boss of csdn, discovered that:CommunityThe development of csdn is facing a problem. That is, there is a gap between the growth of members and the services they can provide. WhenProgramWhen the employee just entered the enterprise, he needed to learn the technology. At this time, the csdn Forum is very suitable for him. However, over the past few years, many technical staff have not only focused on the technology itself, but also began to engage in project management. In many cases, they are more concerned with the combination of technology and business. After a while, many technical staff may start their own business or take technical management positions. In addition to news and industry trends, csdn products are no longer able to provide services to these users.
This is the reason why csdn is constantly adding new members, but its members are also lost. Some users who have thoroughly studied a certain type of technology find that csdn is too extensive or too many new users, so they pull it out separately to establish a more professional user community.
At the same time, some technical managers are not using csdn forums or other products, except for occasional access to csdn news. Of course, these technical managers do not actually have a better communication platform, so some people will still use csdn blogs and other services. However, these user groups have little dependence on csdn services. (Of course, these issues are also manifested in the programmer magazine)
However, the importance of csdn is self-evident for technical managers. First, these people are technical people and have a strong sense of identity with csdn. Second, these people have already entered the enterprise management layer and have certain decision-making capabilities, its commercial value is much higher than that of ordinary developers. Therefore, how to attract these people to the csdn platform is a matter of directionality.
The idea of the CTO club was proposed against this background.
