One-time oracle em configuration experience and oracleem configuration experience

Configuring em for oracle10grac was originally a very simple task, but it took a long time to record it and forget it.

First, the following error is reported:

Online data query is an oracle bug.

Oracle explains this:

In Enterprise Manager Database Control with Oracle Database 10.2.0.4 and 10.2.0.5, the root certificate used to secure communications via the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol will expire on 31-Dec-2010 00:00:00. the certificate expiration will cause errors if you attempt to configure Database Control on or after 31-Dec-2010. existing Database Control operations are not affected by this issue.

If you plan to configure Database Control with either of these Oracle Database releases, Oracle strongrong recommends that you apply Patch 8350262 to your Oracle Home installations before you configure Database Control. configuration of Database Control is typically done when you create or upgrade Oracle Database, or if you run Enterprise Manager Configuration Assistant (EMCA) in standalone mode.

View: Enterprise Manager Database Control Configuration-Recovering From Errors Due to CA Expiry on Oracle Database 10.2.0.4 or 10.2.0.5 [Video] [ID 1222603.1]

Solution:

If the patch has been applied before the instance is created, no error will be reported. If the patch is created after the instance is created, run the following command:

For a single instance:
1. Install Patch 8350262 using Opatch
2. Set the ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID environment variables and run <PATCH_HOME>/killDBConsole. (skip this step on windows)
3. Re-secure Database Control with the following command:
<ORACLE_HOME>/bin/emctl secure dbconsole-reset
4. Re-start Database Control with the following command:
<ORACLE_HOME>/bin/emctl start dbconsole

For RAC:
1. Use Opatch to install Patch 8350262 and install Patch on a node.
2. Run the following command on all nodes: Set the ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID environment variables and run <PATCH_HOME>/killDBConsole. (skip this step on windows)
3. Re-secure Database Control on the first cluster node with the following command:
<ORACLE_HOME>/bin/emctl secure dbconsole-reset
4. Re-secure Database Control on the remaining cluster nodes with the following command. Note that the-reset switch is not supported ded with this command:
<ORACLE_HOME>/bin/emctl secure dbconsole
5. Re-start Database Control by executing the following command on each node in the cluster:
<ORACLE_HOME>/bin/emctl start dbconsole

After patching, clear and create em, and report various errors, but manually delete various data:

The em is created successfully,

Oracle em logon Problems

You can use the database configuration assistant in the configuration and porting tool in oracle in the Start menu to delete the original orcl database, and then create a new database.

Next time, you should note that when installing oracle, you should disconnect the network and everything, and change the host name to a combination of letters, numbers, and other characters that do not contain special characters or underscores, then install oracle. Otherwise, you may encounter various inexplicable startup Problems of the database console. It is purely experienced and may be helpful to you.
