Ii. Installation instructions

Like most of the online antivirus software, the online version of the destroyer antivirus software is composed of three subsystems: VMS server, VC client, and VCR Management Console. First, install "server" on the server, and then install "client" on each client. "VCR console" is a WEB Management Interface Based on IE browser, so no installation is required.

In terms of the installation environment, the Server and client of this online version of anti-virus software support windows 2000/XP/2003 and other operating systems. Of course, the Server is recommended to use Windows Server. In addition, it is to ensure that the correct fixed IP address is set on the server operating system and the IIS service is configured, because this involves the Remote Installation requirements of the client.Iii. Server Installation Process

After the installation program is started on the installation disc, a welcome window is displayed. Click "Next" to enter the input dialog box 2; enter the installation Serial Number included in the software manual in the "Serial Number" column and continue.

Select the software installation directory and go to the next step. If the IIS service has been installed and configured in the server operating system, the "save file directory" window appears. If no configuration is installed, the system prompts you to install the APACHE service, as shown in 3.

The installation of Apache service components is mainly to set the domain name and mailbox of the Apache server, as shown in Figure 4. You can set it based on your network conditions. If you have already installed the IIS service on your local machine, this installation process will not occur, and you will directly go to the next installation step (the upgrade file storage window, as shown in Figure 5 ).

The selection Dialog Box 6 is displayed. Because the running of the online software usually requires database support, you can choose the database software installed on the local machine. The database systems supported by the anti-virus software of the destroyer include: access/msde/mssql/oracle. The official recommendation is MSDE or MSSQL.

After the preceding simple installation and configuration steps, the server software will be officially installed. The installation process is very fast. The installation can be completed in about 1 minute. After the installation is complete, a VC icon will appear in the tray of the taskbar. Double-click the VC icon to bring up the Server Management Program, as shown in figure 8.

　Iv. Client installation

The online anti-virus software of the destroyer provides clients with multiple installation methods:

Method 1: WEB-based installation: Enter http: // ip address/VC/install.exe In the IE browser, download it to the local device, and then install it.

Method 2: Use a CD to install the SDK directly. Run the setup.exe file under the clientfolder of the optical disk directory directly. During installation, enter the IP address of the VMS.

Method 3: File Sharing and installation. By sharing the Client installation file install.exe, you can directly access the shared directory for installation.

Method 4: FTP distributed installation. Users who are uploading and downloading files through FTP can directly describe the files for installation.

The above Client installation methods are relatively simple. You can choose one of them based on your actual situation. The following describes the implementation process of Web installation. If the IP address of the server is 192.168.1.34, enter http: // 192.168.1.34/vc/in the address bar of the Client Computer Browser to open the page shown in Figure 9. Specifically, click the "“setup.exe" file to download and install it.

The installation of the client has changed to the full-Chinese wizard mode, and the installation process is also very simple. The only thing that needs to be selected by the user is the check option shown in 10, during installation, we can perform a virus Database Upgrade and a simple local security scan.

After installation, double-click the spider icon in the tray area of the taskbar to open the client software, as shown in page 11. The default light blue interface looks very comfortable, and the function settings are also very simple.
