Currently, most flash drives on the market can be used as boot flash drives. However, to save costs, many manufacturers have not given away the boot drive preparation program. Even if the flash drives are offered, they can be used normally on Windows 98. Windows 2000/XP makes production impossible. Although we have introduced how to use WinImage 7.0 before, it is not convenient to use it, so here we will introduce a small software with less than kb.
Example 1: Create a boot flash drive
Step 1: Insert a flash disk, run the software, and select the inserted flash disk from the list.
Step 2: click "perform boot only, do not format disk" and select the mode to use. In general, early flash drives are likely to boot in the FDD mode. If your flash drive is a mobile hard drive (or a recognized hard drive ), the "HDD mode" is used (see Figure 1), and other flash disks can use any mode as needed.
Tips
★If you select the "pilot treatment" item, then will the yundun muscle?
★You can use the backup to file and recovery from file items to back up or restore the flash drive as if you were using Ghost.
Step 3: click the "Start" button. A warning is displayed, indicating that the data will be destroyed. Click "yes". Press the prompt to dial out the flash drive and re-insert it, you can copy the boot file and make the boot flash drive.
Example 2: customize and start the flash drive
USBoot automatically writes the IO. SYS, MSDOS. SYS, and COMMAND. COM files to the flash drive when creating and starting the flash drive. These three files are located in the USBOOT. PAK file. If you need to customize the content in the boot flash drive, right-click the icon in the lower-right corner of the USBoot main interface and select "add". Then you can add other files (see figure 2 ).
Xiaobian has something to say: if the motherboard does not recognize the flash drive after the boot with the flash drive, it may be difficult to boot; if the Invalid system disk, press any key to reboot and other information is prompted, it indicates that there is a problem with the flash drive format, and the switchover mode can usually be guided. If information such as Invalid partition table, Missing operating system, or Error loading operating system is prompted, it indicates that the motherboard supports the start of the flash drive, but only some old flash disks are supported.
