I have just read a post in the mapserver email list about the difficulty of the interoperability between ESRI's arc products and other similar products. It is hoped that, under the impact of open source, some new things and ideas will be brought to the conservative GIS industry: openness.
Many overseas bloger and 3 s related websites are reporting about the open source geospatial Foundation. In contrast, there are no other reports except 3 snews from last year's mapserver Foundation in China.
