Open-source Launcher

Wox is a free and open-source quick information acquisition software. She was inspired by Launchy on Alfred and windows on Mac. Currently Wox is hosted on Github (http://www.github.com/qianlifeng/wox), welcome to launch Issue and pull requests.

Wox currently supports the following features:

1. Search for programs installed on the machine and support Chinese pinyin fuzzy search (thanks to the fuzzy search provided by cxfksword)

2. Search for browser bookmarks and search for files (using the Everything plug-in)

3. The Web search function allows you to set keywords for a website, such as google search. You can use g to search for content.

Wox does not provide external buttons to enter the Wox setting interface. If you want to set Wox. You can enter s in the Wox query box. A Wox Setting result is displayed. Select this result to go to the settings page.

The so-called web search allows users to set a keyword for quick web search. You only need to use this keyword to search such web pages in the future. For example, you often need to search for various Icon files. Then you can set such a Web Search on the Web search tab of Wox settings.

　　

There are two types of Wox plug-ins: System plug-ins and extension plug-ins. When you enter a query, the query will be filtered by each system plug-in and return results. Extension plug-ins require keywords to be triggered. For example, if you have installed a youdao translation plug-in whose trigger keyword is yd, after you enter yd + space, the plug-in is automatically called and subsequent results are returned.

Currently, Wox supports C # And Python plug-ins. For details about how to compile the plug-in, refer to here. wox also provides a built-in plug-in Wox Plugin Management by default to trigger the keyword wpm. with this plug-in, you can easily install a variety of plug-ins online, and uninstall unnecessary plug-ins. This plug-in is inspired by nodejs npm :).

• Wox provides the function of replacing the running window with Win + R (which can be closed in settings ). In other words, when Wox is enabled, if you use Win + R, Wox is directly opened and the command line status is displayed (you can also enter this status by entering>)

Enter the directory address and enable the function.
