Full-text search

Supported since FreeCMS 1.7

Only objects created with indexes can be queried by lucene class labels.

Full-text retrieval is automatically performed for information updates, reviews, deletes, and restores.

1. Create an index

Click Create index in the left-side navigation pane.

 

You can select the column for which you want to create an index, and click "create Index" to create a full-text search.

If you are the administrator of the site, you can also select "all columns" as "yes" and click "create Index" to create indexes for all columns of the site.

2. delete an index

Click Delete index in the left-side navigation pane.

 

You can select the column for which you want to delete the index, and click "delete Index" to delete the full-text search.

If you are the administrator of the site, you can also select "whether all columns" as "yes" and click "create Index" to delete all columns of the site.

3. Clear the index

Supported since FreeCMS 2.0

Click Clear index in the left-side navigation pane.

 

Click OK. This operation will delete all full-text index data and cannot be recovered!
