Today, I encountered a very strange problem. When I used QQ for video chat with others, I found that the "camera occupied" message was unavailable. I will share my solution with you.

Fault symptom:

When the camera is turned on, the system prompts "the camera is occupied", so you cannot preview the local image.

Cause analysis:

A third-party program occupies the camera or is optimized by other optimization software, leading to unavailability of the camera.

Solution:

Windows 7:

1. Check the Device Manager and check whether ThinkVantage Virtual Camera exists in the image device. If yes, disable or uninstall the device;

2. If you have used QQ chat, we recommend that you open the chat window between QQ and someone, select the triangle next to the camera, and select "video Settings". There are three options available on the video device. Select Camera Pius or Virtual Camera. Do not select "Integrated Camera ";

3. Win + R, enter services. ms and press enter to enable the ThinkVantage Virtual Camera Controller service;

4. 360 one-click optimization will automatically disable our virtual camera and enable the disabled items in 360;

5. open the Device Manager, find the image device, and right-click to uninstall the Integrated Camera. If a dialog box pops up, check "delete driver software for this device". If not, uninstall the device directly, scan and check hard disk changes, and use the built-in Windows Driver.

Windows 8:

1. Switch to the metro interface, find Camera (some cameras are displayed), move the mouse to the lower right corner, click Settings, and set permissions to enable "Camera and microphone" permissions;

2. Switch to the metro interface, find Lenovo Settings, and open Camera. The following Settings are changed to normal;

3. open the Device Manager, find the image device, and right-click to uninstall the Integrated Camera. If a dialog box pops up, check "delete driver software for this device". If not, uninstall the device directly, scan and check hard disk changes, and use the built-in Windows Driver.
