Opencms for MySQL installation Diagram

Installation environment:

Operating System: winserver2003
JDK: 1.5
Tomcat: 5.5
Opencms: 7.0 beta1, that is, opencms6.7.2 (opencms6.2.3 and so on)
Database: mysql5
Browser: ie6.0sp1

Installation Process:

1. Copy opencms. War to the webapps directory under Tomcat (because I have installed different versions of opencms, I renamed opencms. War to cms672.war)
2. start Tomcat and enterHttp: // localhost: 8080/cms672/Setup/enter the Installation Wizard

3. Click "continue" to go to the next step-system environment detection:

4. Click "continue" to go to the next step-database configuration, and select "mysql4.1.x & 5.0" for the database. x. In setup connection, enter the user name and password required to connect to the MySQL database during installation, and in opencms conncetion, enter the user name and password required to connect to the database when opencms runs, enter the name of the created database. The system will automatically add the database according to the webapp name. You can also manually set the legal database name:

5. Click "continue" to go to the next step. The system creates a database and a table.

6. Click "continue" to go to the next step. The list of modules to be installed is displayed.

7. Click "continue" to go to the next step and enter opencms settings. The default value is enough.

8. Click "continue" to go to the next step to import the module.

9. After the module is imported successfully, it is displayed as shown in figure. Click "continue" to go to the next step.

10. After the installation is complete, select "yes" and click "finish"

11. If there is no pop-up window for blocking plug-ins in IE, the following window should pop up:

12. If there is a pop-up window to intercept the plug-in, click "here" in the following window to manually pop up the window.

13. Click "/cms672/opencms/system/login/" in the window or enter"Http: // localhost: 8080/Cms672/opencms/system/login/"Open the opencms logon page, enter the username" admin "and password" admin "to log on to opencms. Note that the first letter" a "of the username is in uppercase.

14. After successful login, the following window is displayed. Congratulations! opencms installation is complete !!!
