I configured the next cm (Connection Manager), the basic idea is this, there are two machines, 192.168.1.11 above the deployment of openfire,192.168.1.18 above the deployment of cm, and cm connected to the openfire.
--------192.168.1.11 OpenFire-----------
Enable Connection Manager in the OpenFire console and set a password, such as 111111
--------192.168.1.18 CM-----------
Modify Conf/manager.xml
1 fill in the <domain>mychaoboo</domain>, here OpenFire server domain name, note Do not fill in the IP, if you do not have DNS can be added in the Hosts file
2 <password></password> Change to <password>111111</password> here is the password set in the OpenFire console
3 <certificate> <verify>true</verify> Change to <verify>false</verify>
4 Start bin/cmanager.sh or Cmmanager.bat
If the CM connection OpenFire succeeds, the Refresh OpenFire console appears as shown in the following image:
If you use spark to connect to cm, the OpenFire console will appear as shown in the figure:
Note that at this point the number of client sessions has become 1.

CM Introduction Translation:
What is it?
Each openfire Connection Manager module, you deploy improves, the scalability of your OpenFire server by handling a portion of the client connections. It ' s suitable for very large installations of openfire (many thousand concurrent users). Download the Connection Manager module implementation below.
What it is.
Each OpenFire connection snap-in that you deploy relies on processing part of the client connection to increase the capacity of the OpenFire server. It is suitable for large-scale openfire installations (thousands of of online users). Download connection management is implemented as follows.
How many users can each connection manager handle?
Each connection manager should handle at least five thousand concurrent users. Experimental support for non-blocking connections is under development, which would greatly increase the number of CONNECTI ONS that each Connection Manager module can support.
How many users can each connection management handle?
Each connection management should only be able to handle 5000 of online users. Experimental support for Unbound is being improved to increase the number of connections that each connection snap-in can handle.
Can connection managers be used and other servers?
Yes (in theory). The Connection Manager protocol is being developed through the open XEP process. We hope to work with other servers vendors so, the entire Xmpp/jabber community supports the protocol. We also expect there would be the other implementations of the connection managers that'll be compatible with OpenFire. For example, a connection manager written with native code is able to achieve very high scalability on a specific plat Form.
Can connection management be used on other servers?
Of course (theoretically). The connection management protocol is being improved through open XEP processing. We want to collaborate with other server vendors so that all Xmppp/jabber associations support this agreement. We also expect to have other compatible OpenFire connection management implementations. For example, a connection management written in native code can achieve a very high capacity on a particular platform.
Does openfire Connection Manager Module Use the same license as OpenFire?
Yes, the module is dual-licensed under the Open Source GPL license or a Comercial Software license agreement available fro M Jive software.
is the license for OpenFire connection management the same as the OpenFire itself?
Of course, this module is a dual-licensed under the open source GPL, or a commercial software license Jive Software agrees to authorize.
How does I get support?
Support are available from the user community in the discussion forums. Enterprise-grade Email and phone support are also available from Jive software.
