OpenMandriva Lx 3.0 system released
The OpenMandriva team officially released the OpenMandriva Lx 3.0 system. After four months of research and development, the first Alpha version was released in the third week of April 2016. With the unremitting efforts of the team, the open-source project follows the latest GUN/Linux technology and software version, provides users with a desktop system that is available and updated.
The statement states: "OpenMandriva Lx is a cutting-edge branch version through LLVM/clang. Combined with in-depth Optimization on computers and connections, the KDE Plasma 5 desktop environment greatly improves ease of use ."
The OpenMandriva Lx 3.0 system is based on the Linux Kernel 4.6.5 Kernel and uses KDE Plasma 5.6.5 as the default desktop environment. In addition, it is equipped with the KDE Applications 16.04.3 software package and KDE Frameworks 5.24.0 package.
