The browser manufacturer Opera has released a new version of operabrowser for the Linux operating system. Now Linux users can download this browser immediately. Prior to this, the latest Linux version of operabrowser was introduced a year ago in Opera 12.16, with no new features built into other platforms.
After Opera abandoned its rendering engine and switched to Chromium, it stopped updating the Linux version of operabrowser.

Now, developers can download to the Opera 24 browser using the Chromium engine. The company said in a blog article that it is already testing a new version of browsers and is applicable to 64-bit Ubuntu Linux operating systems running Unity or Gnome Shell. Although it can also be used in other Linux systems, it cannot be guaranteed to be supported.
