Under Linux, sometimes you encounter a file named after a special character, and you need to escape the symbol to remove the file. Here are a few examples to look at:

[[email protected] tmp]# touch \ (22\)
[email protected] tmp]# Touch \1231
[email protected] tmp]# Touch \\1231
[email protected] tmp]# Touch \<22:23\>
[email protected] tmp]# LL
-rw-r--r--1 root root 0 Nov 19 11:47 (22)
-rw-r--r--1 root root 0 Nov 19 11:48 1231
-rw-r--r--1 root root 0 Nov 19 11:49 \1231
-rw-r--r--1 root root 0 Nov 11:48 <22:23>

When deleting, also add the escape symbol "/"
[Email protected] tmp]# RM-RF 1231
[Email protected] tmp]# RM-RF \\1231
[Email protected] tmp]# RM-RF \ (22\)
[Email protected] tmp]# RM-RF \<22:23\>
