Operation Steps of QoS setting for Internet Café router

Internet Café Router QoS settings are mainly to ensure that every day the machine can have bandwidth, so as to ensure the stability and balance of internet cafes.

The Internet Café Router QoS has two most important parts, namely the minimum bandwidth and the maximum bandwidth.

Minimum bandwidth can be understood to be guaranteed bandwidth;

Maximum bandwidth: When the network is idle, you can fully use the free bandwidth, but can not exceed the maximum bandwidth set;

Maximum bandwidth can be understood as limiting bandwidth.

Below we use a 100 computer, 10M Optical Network of Internet cafes to illustrate the configuration process, you only need to follow the steps below to set up your network can:

① the intranet of the computer's IP manually specified, and is continuous, such as 192.168.1.2~192.168.1.100, so convenient after the setting;

② set the bandwidth of your line at the ipqos settings switch, set up the uplink bandwidth and downlink bandwidth of the line respectively, such as 10M fiber line need to fill in 10000; then turn on the QoS total switch;

③ enters the Ipqos Rules Settings page, adds new entries, assigns the IP of intranet computers manually, and is a continuous setting:

IP address segments such as 192.168.1.2-192.168.1.100;

Mode selection is "independent";

Set the bandwidth of your line at the ipqos settings switch, set up the uplink bandwidth and downlink bandwidth of the line, such as 10M fiber line needs to fill in 10000; then turn on the QoS master switch; go to the Ipqos Rule Setup page, add a new entry, and set:

Uplink minimum Bandwidth: line true uplink bandwidth/intranet computer number, in this case for 10000/99=101; The maximum bandwidth settings are not very related, push

Recommend setting 800 or 1000 or 2000;

downlink Minimum Bandwidth: line true downlink bandwidth/intranet computer number, in this case for 10000/99=101; The maximum bandwidth settings are not very related, push

Recommend setting 800 or 1000 or 2000;

④ Save, set to complete.

Note: If you are a multiple WAN port router, fill in the values here because of the downlink bandwidth on each WAN port.

Routers are very accurate to restrict the top/downlink data streams. On the above figure to fill in the parameters, assume configured 192.168.1.10 this IP address of the host is in the BT download, then this host data flow will be relatively large.

Through the above settings, each computer in the Internet café can obtain the minimum guaranteed bandwidth of 100K, so that users in the Internet café can not affect each other in the network to swim.
