Optimization Strategy: seven considerations for web design

In order for search engines to retrieve your webpage smoothly, it is recommended that you sacrifice some fancy things.

FLASH

Although the visual effects of web pages produced by FLASH are good, the search engine does not catch a cold. The case shows that such websites are difficult to be indexed by Baidu search engines. It is wise to provide two options: FLASH and non-FLASH web pages. This increases the appreciation of web pages and takes care of the search engine sentiment.

Dynamic Pages)

Any address with "?" "&" (And other similar symbols) web pages will block the "Spider" program. These web pages are usually generated by CGI, PHP, ASP, and other programs. They are technically advanced, but are not suitable for search engine "Spider" programs. Although some large search engines (such as Google) already have the ability to search dynamic web pages, a considerable number of them still do not support it. In addition, even Google, which can index dynamic web pages, explicitly states in multiple occasions that it is not guaranteed to retrieve all dynamic web pages.

Therefore, unless it is a super large website, you have to use dynamic web page generation technology for convenience. Otherwise, it is better to use static web pages as much as possible.

Encrypted webpage

Do not encrypt your webpage unless you do not want the search engine to search for your webpage.

Webpage capacity

The number of webpage bytes, including images, should not exceed 50 kB. The slow speed of large web page downloads not only makes ordinary visitors feel anxious, but also makes the "Spider" program feel impatient.

Independent domain name and paid virtual host

Currently, search engines are reluctant to include websites on the free homepage. The reason is that since you think your website is so important that you need to log on to the search engine to make everyone know about it, you have no reason to put it on a free server. Moreover, the free homepage is usually slow, which affects the efficiency of searching information.

Of course, there are exceptions in everything. If your website is really good, it may also be accepted by search engines, your ranking will always follow those websites with independent domain names.
