The OptiView network super perspective solution integrates hardware and software to provide portable and distributed Analysis for enterprise-level networks. only OptiView integrates device search, traffic statistics, and protocol analysis to quickly, conveniently, and deeply analyze Wan, lan, and wireless networks. Quickly view your high-speed WAN links. The OptiView Wan analyzer provides a fast, convenient, and comprehensive performance analysis method for WAN links. You can remotely control it from any workstation, analyze WAN links from the physical layer to the application layer, and enable remote protocol analysis if necessary. You can use the WAN analyzer as an independent tool or as part of a comprehensive management solution.

Overview

  • Simple and quick Configuration
  • Supports a small number or all T1/E1 interfaces in real time
  • Supports frame relay, PPP, and HDLC technologies.
  • Built-in T1/E1 interface box and Serial Interface

Flexible configuration

The OptiView T1/E1 Wan analyzer supports frame relay, PPP, and Cisco HDLC on the same device. It is designed to be very compact, with only half a standard rack width and a standard equipment high 1U ). This design can monitor different types of links on the same device and adapt to the needs of high-speed network links in the future.

The OptiView T1/E1 Wan analyzer is equipped with two traffic interfaces to monitor the DTE and DCE traffic streams of One T1 or E1 line at the same time. All links are analyzed to display the full-duplex traffic model.

Each T1/E1 Wan analyzer has a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet RJ-45 Management port, which can be used as part of the analyzer product with OptiView analyzer remote control software, up to eight users can perform different analyses at the same time. Network Management settings are easy, such as setting SNMP "traps", device search range, and remote user access to the WAN analyzer.

The setup of the analyzer is as simple as that of household gadgets. The Wan Link Access analyzer has a built-in Interface Box), connects the power supply, connects the Management port to the Ethernet port, installs the user interface software like other applications, such as running setup.exe), and runs the application. With the analysis turned on automatically, You can instantly view your Wan-No configuration required.

Comprehensive Wan perspective

The wide area network analyzer provides rich graphical information on the homepage of the test interface, which is displayed in an easy-to-understand manner. You can quickly view what happened on your wide area network link. For any given WAN link, the analyzer displays the most important parts of the line on a simple and easy-to-understand screen to verify the connectivity of the physical layer T1/E1, the LCM status, and the number of vcpus, at the same time, you can view important performance data, and use statistical data such as Link Utilization, the highest conversation host and application, and devices that are automatically classified through the network component types and faults/alarms seen on the link.

You can easily perform performance verification on the homepage. If everything is normal, you can proceed to the next step. If a suspicious part is found, you can use the user interface to quickly and easily analyze the part you are interested in. You only need to click the "button" for the part you are interested in.

Line Features

Verify virtual circuit configuration

When the OptiView Wan analyzer is connected to the T1 or E1 Wan Line, it immediately starts to continuously monitor the physical layer and data link layer to identify problems on the physical link. You can automatically search for all VC, DLCI, and related vro endpoints. You can add the characteristics of each DLCI, including the description, capacity, CIR, and the constrained pulse size.

Layer 1 and Layer 2 Automatic Detection

The analyzer automatically determines the link speed T1 or E1), frame format, link code, DLCI length, encapsulation, LMS type, and interface type. You can configure special line parameters, including DSO speed, T1 line allocation, maximum frame size, N392 error threshold, N393 event count, and T392 verification timer.

LMS features

Automatic Generation of LMS statistics. The LMS statistics for link monitoring include LMS errors, LMS details, and VC availability. LMS errors include invalid channel time of DCE and DTE, link reliability error, and protocol error. The detailed information about the LMS includes the status, channel invalid fault, the last channel invalid fault timestamp, the LMS type, and the interface type. VC availability statistics include VC name, status, last status change timestamp, interrupt count, available percentage, average time between service interruption and service recovery.

Errors, alarms, and faults

T1/E1 errors and alarms

The OptiView Wan analyzer can detect the most common errors and alarms on T1/E1 links. The detected alarms include signal loss, frame loss, inconsistent frames, AIS/RDI, and remote SEF/AIS. DTE and DC alarms are monitored separately, including the current and historical alarm times and the number of seconds of the link in the specified alarm status. The counts of error packets with frame bit errors, link code interference, and path code interference are also represented by DTE and DCE respectively. Finally, it displays performance statistics based on ANSI T1.231, such as Link error seconds, error seconds, burst error seconds, critical error seconds, invalid seconds, and downgrade minutes.

Fault Log

If the error exceeds the threshold, you can report it in the fault log.
