Trailing null missing from STR bind value cause

A bind variable of type 5 (null-terminated string) does not contain the terminating null in its buffer. Action

Terminate the string with a null character

Cause Analysis: The problem may occur because the host program's variable set too short, resulting in the SQL (PRO*C) removed the field is truncated, the last field corresponding to the variable when the assignment can not find the end character.
Workaround: Locate the settings for the Too short field and set the variable to long.
