ORA-02095: specified initialization parameter cannot be modified

Enter the command: alter system set utl_file_dir = '/home/oracle/logmnr' scope = spfile;

Error:

Error cause: No spfile file is used to start the database.

Solution: Start the database with the spfile file.

1: Enter the $ ORACLE_HOME/dbs path to check whether the spfile exists.

2: if not, use create spfile from pfile to generate

 

3: restart the database

4: show parameter spfile to verify whether spfile is enabled

5: Execute alter system set utl_file_dir = '/home/oracle/logmnr' scope = spfile again;
