Environment:
Operating System: CENTOS6.4 64BIT
Database: rac oracle 11.2.0.3 64BIT
An error occurs after the database is started. The filesystemio_options parameter has been modified before, but the following error is reported after the database is restarted:
SQL> startup
ORA-32004: obsolete or deprecated parameter (s) specified for RDBMS instance
ORACLE instance started.
Total System Global Area 730714112 bytes
Fixed Size 2216944 bytes
Variable Size 557845520 bytes
Database Buffers 167772160 bytes
Redo Buffers 2879488 bytes
Database mounted.
Database opened.
Official documentation:
ORA-32004: obsolete or deprecated parameter (s) specifiedStringInstance
Cause:Obsolete or deprecated parameters for this instance type were specified in the SPFILE or the PFILE on the server side.
Action:See alert log for a list of parameters that are obsolete or deprecated. Remove them from the SPFILE or the server side PFILE.
Track alarm logs and lock the following information:
If a parameter is set incorrectly, the preceding problem occurs. Therefore, we plan to modify the parameter settings in the parameter file.
Start the following steps:
Generate a pfile Online Based on the spfile file.
SQL> create pfile = '/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_1/dbs/initxcky_001.ora' from spfile;
[Oracle @ node1 dbs] $ vi initxcky_001.ora
Then modify the parameter file.
Delete the filesystemio_options parameter and the log_archive_start prompt in the alarm log.
Save and exit.
Use the modified pfile to start the library.
SQL> startup pfile = '/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_1/dbs/initxcky_001.ora'
ORACLE instance started.
Total System Global Area 730714112 bytes
Fixed Size 2216944 bytes
Variable Size 557845520 bytes
Database Buffers 167772160 bytes
Redo Buffers 2879488 bytes
Database mounted.
Database opened.
Use the pfile file to generate a spfile file.
SQL> create spfile = '+ DG1/xky/spfilexky. ora' from pfile;
File created.
SQL> shutdown immediate;
Database closed.
Database dismounted.
ORACLE instance shut down.
SQL> startup
ORA-01506: missing or illegal database name
An error occurred while starting the database!
View official documents:
ORA-01506: missing or illegal database name
Cause:No db_name INIT. ORA aprameter was specified.
Action:The database name must be given in the db_name INIT. ORA parameter.
This error occurs because db_name is not specified in the spfile. Spfile is generated by pfile, but it is indeed set in pfile. A hidden error was found during the playback step. That is, the method of generating the spfile file. The pfile location is not specified in the above steps. In this case, the pfile file found by oracle is not the pfile file used at startup, but the default pfile file under $ ORACLE_HOME/dbs, the content is as follows:
[Oracle @ node1 dbs] $ vi initxcky1.ora
SPFILE = '+ DG1/xcky/parnew/spfilexcky. ora'
Therefore, the spfile file created through this pfile is of course missing parameters.
So recreate the spfile file:
SQL> startup pfile = '/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_1/dbs/initxcky_001.ora'
ORACLE instance started.
Total System Global Area 730714112 bytes
Fixed Size 2216944 bytes
Variable Size 557845520 bytes
Database Buffers 167772160 bytes
Redo Buffers 2879488 bytes
Database mounted.
Database opened.
SQL> create spfile = '+ DG1/XCKY/parnew/spfilexky. ora' from pfile = '/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_1/dbs/initxcky_001.ora.bak.bak ';
Let's close the database and start the database. Check the status as follows:
SQL> shutdown immediate;
Database closed.
Database dismounted.
ORACLE instance shut down.
SQL> startup
ORACLE instance started.
Total System Global Area 730714112 bytes
Fixed Size 2216944 bytes
Variable Size 557845520 bytes
Database Buffers 167772160 bytes
Redo Buffers 2879488 bytes
Database mounted.
Database opened.
The database has been started successfully.
