Oracle 10g R2 RAC & amp; Hacmp requirements

Install Oracle 10gR2 RAC on aix. If raw is used for storage, hacmp (PowerHA) is required for shared storage.
For 10gR2, Oracle only supports hacmp 5.3 or later versions, and has different requirements for each specific version.
1. hacmp 5.3.
The software requirements for HACMP 5.3 on 10gR2 are as follows:

2. hacmp 5.4.1
The software requirements for HACMP 5.4.1 on 10gR2 are as follows:

Oracle 10gR2 patchset 10.2.0.3, CRS bundled Patch: 6160398 is required. in addition, rootpre. sh Patch: 6718715 is required when using HACMP 5.4.1 with a fresh install of Oracle RAC clusterware or when upgrading from Oracle 10gR1 to Oracle 10gR2. this patch shoshould be installed on all nodes before installing Oracle 10.2.0.1 software. be sure to download the 10gR2 version of patch 6718715.
 
3. Power ha 5.5
The software requirements for PowerHA 5.5 on 10gR2 are as follows:

In addition, rootpre. sh patch 6718715 is required when using PowerHA 5.5 with a fresh install of Oracle RAC clusterware or when upgrading from Oracle RAC 10gR1 to 10gR2. this patch shoshould be installed on all nodes before installing Oracle 10.2.0.1 software. be sure to download the 10gR2 version of patch 6718715.
 
We can see that if the patch for installing hacmp 5.3 or 5.4.1 database must hit 10.2.0.3
If the patch of PowerHA 5.5 database is installed, it must be 10.2.0.4.
