I. Preparation work 1, database environment

Operating system version: Redhat 5.8 x64
Database version: Oracle 10.2.0.5 x64 RAC
cluterware:10.2.0.5
Oracle database:10.2.0.5.0
PSU Patch: 10.2.0.5.19 (second half of 2015)

2, Prepare content

Opatch:p6880880_102000_linux-x86-64.zip
DB Psu:p20299014_10205_linux-x86-64.zip

Description: p20299014 patch package without CRS patch repair, so directly hit the database PSU can be.

Second, update the Opatch version, must be updated

Description: Update the Opatch version on two nodes, respectively.

1. Update the Opatch version, you need to update from 10.2.0.4.9 to 10.2.0.5.1,opatch direct compression replacement.

(1) Upload p6880880_112000_linux-x86-64.zip,p20299014_10205_linux-x86-64.zip to the/u01/app directory.
(2) Rename the original Opatch directory under root user.

Mv/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/opatch/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/opatchbk

2. Oracle Directory Opatch Replacement

(1) Root user
cd/u01/app/
Chown Oracle:oinstall P6880880_102000_linux-x86-64.zip
Chown Oracle:oinstall P20299014_10205_linux-x86-64.zip

(2) Oracle User

Su-oracle
cd/u01/app/
Unzip P6880880_112000_linux-x86-64.zip
Unzip P20299014_10205_linux-x86-64.zip

(3) Root user

cd/u01/app/
MV opatch/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/

(4) Oracle User Testing

Su-oracle

/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/opatch/opatch version

4. See if the patch can be upgraded by rolling

This method has no effect on the application system, while the other nodes do not need to be shut down while upgrading one node.
$/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/opatch/opatch query-all/u01/app/20299014/|grep Rolling
Patch is a rolling patch:true

Third, hit the Database PSU patch

Upgrade to look at their respective environments, can be useful in the way of rolling upgrades, you can also use the full shutdown and then upgrade.

1. Upgrade Node 1 First, close node 1

[[email protected] ~]$ srvctl stop instance-d orcl-i ORCL1
[Email protected] ~]$ srvctl stop listener-n Node1
[Email protected] ~]$ srvctl stop asm-n Node1

2. Perform the upgrade

Local Upgrade Method:
cd/u01/app/
/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/opatch/opatch Napply-local-oh/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1-id 20299014

Example: If you do not use a rolling upgrade, local and remote to fight the way:
cd/u01/app/20299014
/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/opatch/opatch Apply

First hit the local node, start the Node 1 database, then close Node 2, then hit the Node 2 patch, and finally start Node 2.

3. Node 1 starts.

[Email protected] ~]$ srvctl start asm-n node1
[Email protected] ~]$ srvctl start instance-d orcl-i ORCL1
[Email protected] ~]$ srvctl start listener-n node1

4. Close Node 2

[[email protected] ~]$ srvctl stop instance-d orcl-i Orcl2
[Email protected] ~]$ srvctl stop listener-n Node2
[Email protected] ~]$ srvctl stop asm-n Node2

Continue to hit the Node 2 patch, after the completion, then start Node 2.

[Email protected] ~]$ srvctl start asm-n node2
[Email protected] ~]$ srvctl start instance-d orcl-i Orcl2
[Email protected] ~]$ srvctl start listener-n node2

5. Node 1, node 2 Check upgrade status

Four, upgrade the database data dictionary 1, the database started, the database has been started, no need to start the database, directly execute the script.
