Oracle 11G Password 180 days after the expiration of the modified method _oracle

As a result of the new features of oracle11g, it is common to encounter situations where the "password expires after ora-28002:7 days" is often encountered when landing an Oracle database using Sqlplus. The default password expiration limit is 180 days when Oracle 11G creates a user, and if the user password is not modified for more than 180 days, the user cannot log in, prompting "ora-28001:the Password has expired"

When the password expires, the business process connects to the database exception, which is bound to affect use and login.

Emancipation Method:

1. View the lifetime settings for the user's password (default profile is general)

SQL > SELECT * from dba_profiles WHERE profile= ' DEFAULT ' and resource_name= ' Password_life_time '

2. Change the password lifetime from the default 180 days to "unrestricted", after the modification does not need to restart the database, will take effect immediately

SQL > Alter profile DEFAULT LIMIT Password_life_time Unlimited;

3. Account Change Password once again

SQL > Alter User ink identified by < original password >----don't need to change a new password

4. Use the modified user login, if reported "ORA-28000: User has been locked", unlock

SQL > Alter user db_user account unlock;

SQL > commit;
