Oracle 11G R2 RAC modify archive Mode

The non-archive mode is used by default after the database is created. You need to modify it.

Test the first method:

SQL> archive log list;

Database log mode No Archive Mode

Automatic archival Disabled

Archive destination USE_DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST

Oldest online log sequence 19

Current log sequence 20

SQL>

SQL> Select NAME, CREATED, LOG_MODE, CHECKPOINT_CHANGE #, ARCHIVE_CHANGE # from V $ DATABASE;

View logs at the same time:
